Itinerary

Arrival & Alignment

DAYS 1 - 2

Arrive in Luxor and feel the shift immediately.

Egypt does not simply impress.
It reorients.

The journey begins with a walk through the Luxor and Karnak temples. Here, the body begins to soften. The mind begins to quiet. Presence returns.

That evening, we board our private Dahabeya and open the journey with a Cacao Ceremony beneath the stars, carried by the stillness of the Nile.

These first days are about landing fully.
No rush. No expectation.
Just arrival.

The body listens before the mind understands.

Grounding & Restoration

DAYS 2 -3

Mornings begin with Yoga, Qi Gong, Meditation, and gentle movement, as the Dahabeya glides along the Nile. We step into the Valley of the Kings.

At sunset, gather on the riverbank for Shamanic Breathwork.

Expansion & Integration

DAYS 3 - 4

At Kom Ombo Temple, we explore the balance of light and shadow, masculine and feminine. Evening sound and light show at Edfu Temple. Close the day with a ceremony beneath the Egyptian sky.

Completion & return

Day 5

The final day arrives gently.

Arrive in Aswan and visit Philae, the island temple dedicated to Isis., the island temple dedicated to Isis, a sanctuary of feminine wisdom and restoration. A guided meditation to feel what's shifted. A closing circle to gather the group, speak gratitude, and seal the journey befopre departing from Aswan.

You leave carrying Egypt forward in how you stand, breathe, and move through the world.

Optional Cairo & Giza EXPERIENCE (NOV 1)

Begin the journey one day earlier with an optional Cairo extension, including the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Giza Plateau, the Pyramids & Sphinx. For those who want to complete the arc before the journey begins.

THIS JOURNEY MAY BE FOR YOU IF…

You feel called to Egypt but want more than a traditional tour.

You are ready to step away from daily demands and reconnect with your body, direction and inner clarity.

You value meaningful travel, intimate groups and experiences that combine adventure with personal transformation.

No previous retreat, breathwork or spiritual experience is required—only curiosity and a willingness to participate.

AccomModation

Your home on the Nile is the VEDA 4, a traditional Dahabeya, an elegant vessel shaped by centuries of river wisdom. With a total of 14 rooms (4 Master Suites & 10 Suites), this is not a hotel.
It is a moving sanctuary.

Meals are fresh, local, and prepared on board. Ceremonies happen on the open deck, where river, sky, and sacred land meet.

Here, conversation slows.
S i l e n c e becomes comfortable.
Presence deepens effortlessly.

As the Dahabeya carries you between temples, the river itself becomes part of the teaching.

The river sets the pace.
The body listens.
The mind follows.

OUR ELDERS & GUARDIANS

Every journey requires steady hands.

At NAFAS, we are held by facilitators, teachers, and guides who who walk alongside, not above.

WALID ABOULNAGA

Transformational Guide & Founder

Walid serves as the architectural spine of the journey. He guides the tribe with years of navigating both modern leadership and ancient wisdom traditions.

A certified Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator and ordained Shamanic Minister, Walid works with breath as a tool for alignment rather than intensity. His approach restores coherence, guiding participants back to inner authority through regulated breath and presence.

Having facilitated journeys across more than twenty countries, he brings structure without rigidity and depth without overwhelm.

Egypt is not a country we live in, but a country that lives within us.”

KATRINA ABOULNAGA

Co-Facilitator & Shamanic Healer

Katrina carries the quiet intelligence of the feminine, expressed through presence rather than instruction.

Raised within a lineage of shamans, her work is intuitive and embodied, creating an atmosphere where safety is felt and the nervous system can soften. She supports emotional settling, subtle awareness, and heart-centred reconnection.

In Egypt, Katrina’s role is restorative, ensuring that alignment remains gentle, that structure is balanced with softness, and that integration begins long before words are needed.

CALEB AUSTON

Ceremonial Musician

Caleb creates immersive, participatory experiences where music becomes a shared practice of connection. Through ceremonial concerts, cacao ceremonies, mantra, kirtan, song circles, and transformational gatherings, he invites people beyond passive listening and into experiences of presence, expression, and collective resonance.

His offerings are rooted in the understanding that music has always been more than entertainment. It is a timeless medicine that brings people together to celebrate, reflect, grieve, heal, and remember. Every gathering is carefully woven to create an experience that is both deeply personal and profoundly communal, where the audience doesn't simply witness the music, but becomes part of it.
